I've lived in Rome since 2003 and have been working in the field of advertising since 1999.
After receiving a degree in Marketing and Advertising and training as a copywriter both in the J. Walter Thompson Creative Academy in Milan and in the agency Bates in Rome, I have followed my inclination to be a freelancer, consistent with my spirit of enterprise.

My copywriting skills and my fluency in English eventually enabled me to specialize in the English-to-Italian transcreation of every kind of text connected with advertising and communication.
I have been working successfully in that field to date, gaining more and more experience and competence and becoming increasingly keen on this job.
I also enjoy it deeply and I believe this is actually what has allowed me, along with my professionalism, to win the esteem and trust of an ever growing number of market leaders and agencies, who constantly entrust me with transcreation projects concerning their top brands.

Transcreation can be a tricky process: it's about taking a campaign conceived in a foreign language and recreating it into another so as to make it just as effective and striking as the original, from a linguistic, creative and cultural point of view.
A thorough knowledge of both the source and target languages (including slang, specialized jargons, nuances), competence for copywriting techniques and understanding of the sociocultural issues of the market are among the skills that transcreation requires, and that I keep on acquiring by constant practice and learning, integrating them with a great deal of personal curiosity, intuition and passion.

This is absolutely the job that I have always wanted to do. Doing it with pleasure makes for even greater goals and even better results.
